Since its inception, the EHDOC Senior Relief Fund has been available to meet the needs of our EHDOC Family (our Resident's and Staff).
The fund, established to provide for a time of crisis or suffering, is strictly funded by the generous donations from the public and private sector. No Government funds are used for this fund.
In September of 2003, The EHDOC Senior Relief Fund provided much needed groceries for the Residents of a 161 unit apartment in Washington, DC that had been without power for several days due to Hurricane Isabella.
In January of 2005 EHDOC realized that we need to also reach our "extended family" of fellow "man" who are suffering due to catastrophe. Through the valant fund raising efforts of our Residents and Staff, the EHDOC Senior Relief Fund was able to donate $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity for the Tsunami Victims in SE Asia.
