Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation (EHDOC) develops and manages safe, secure, and affordable housing for senior citizens across the United States. EHDOC advocates for the highest quality of life for the seniors of today and tomorrow.
EHDOC currently manages 43 multi-family communities, comprising some 4,000 apartments, in 14 states, as well as Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico.
EHDOC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and was formerly known as the National Council of Senior Citizens Housing Management Corporation. It was formed in 1978 by the National Council of Senior Citizens, the advocacy organization responsible for Medicare, Social Security, and the Older Americans Act.
EHDOC is a national leader and advocate at all levels of government in promoting independent living and life enrichment for seniors.
