EHDOC manages 46 communities in 13 states across the country as well as Washington , DC , and Puerto Rico . We create living environments which meet the needs of senior citizens and the surrounding community. Our main concern is to promote and foster a climate of self-reliance, independence and respect for the elderly and persons with disabilities.

Our communities offer a variety of apartment sizes and designs:
studios; one and two bedrooms; garden-style; and high rises with an elevator. Locations range from suburban, in city centers and rural country-side settings.

Activities and services* include:

  • Service Coordinators to assist residents with services to help them continue to live independently
  • Meal services that are home delivered or in group dining facilities
  • Senior Center Activities such computer learning, exercise sessions, craft classes, bingo, bus trips and shopping excursions
  • Resident Association that works with management to maintain a vital community
  • Primary Care Clinics with blood pressure screening, podiatry services and wellness programs
  • Coin-operated laundry rooms
  • Gift Shops with hand-made craft items
  • Beauty salon
  • Library & Games
  • Apartments for persons with special needs (limited)
    *All activities may not be available at all communities.

Many state, local or municipal entities also provide transportation for senior citizens for free or at a nominal cost. Trips may include shopping, medical appointments, evening activities and leisure trips.
